New York recertification requirements
New York does not use the NREMT recertification model. The NYS Bureau of EMS runs its own recertification process: providers recertify either by completing a state-approved refresher course and exam, or through the Bureau's CME Based Recertification Program, which is administered through their agency and regional faculty.
