Arizona recertification requirements
You can renew your Arizona certification with a Current National Registry certification. If you are state certified only, you will follow a different recertification plan. EMCT - 24 hours of continuing education (CEs) mirroring the content of a traditional refresher course. (Our plan will only work if you have worked 240 hours as an EMT during their 2-year certification cycle. Advanced-EMTs, Intermediate-99s and Paramedics - 48 hours of continuing education (CEs) mirroring the content of a traditional refresher course.
