EMS recertification in Alaska
The state of Alaska does not require CME classes be pre-approved but requires they meet the CME guidelines. All Prodigy classes are CAPCE approved and will count towards Alaska EMS recertification.
Alaska recertification requirements
Alaska follows the NREMT NCCP model for recertification. Even if you are state certified only, you will still follow the NREMT recertification plan. If you renew your NREMT, you will satisfy your Alaska requirements. We have training plans set up for the Alaska specific EMT-1, EMT-2, and EMT-3. They have aligned the EMT-1 requirements with the NREMT EMT NCCP and EMT-2 and EMT-3 with the NREMT AEMT NCCP.
