By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

Information You Provide Directly. Account and Training Data. When you use the Platform, we collect information related to your account activity and training, including course enrollments, course completion records, quiz and assessment results, continuing education credits earned, training plan progress, certification status and expiration dates, and login activity.

Payment Information. When you purchase a Subscription, payment is processed through third-party payment processors. Prodigy EMS does not directly collect or store credit card numbers, bank account information, or other sensitive financial data. We may receive transaction confirmations and billing-related information from our payment processors.

Information Collected Automatically. When you access the Website or Platform, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, clickstream data, and other interaction data. This information is collected through cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies as described in the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section below.

Information From Third Parties. We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including analytics providers, advertising networks, and, for organizational accounts, from your employer or department administrator who manages your account on the Platform.

Providing and Operating the Service. To create and manage your account, deliver courses and training content, track your training progress and continuing education credits, generate completion records and transcripts, process transactions, and provide customer support.

Communication. To send you service-related communications such as account confirmations, training reminders, certification expiration notices, platform updates, and responses to your inquiries.

Marketing. To send you promotional communications about Prodigy EMS products, services, features, events, and other offerings that may be of interest to you. By creating an account on the Platform or submitting a form on the Website, you consent to receiving marketing communications from Prodigy EMS. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@prodigyems.com. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages necessary for the operation of your account.

We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), email marketing (HubSpot, Mailchimp), customer relationship management (HubSpot CRM), analytics (Google Analytics), infrastructure monitoring (Sentry), tag management (Google Tag Manager), and website hosting. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to Prodigy EMS and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Advertising Partners. We share certain usage data and identifiers with advertising platforms, including Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn, to deliver and measure advertising campaigns. This may include information collected through tracking pixels and cookies on the Website and Platform.

Third-Party Course Providers. When courses are created in partnership with or provided by third-party content providers or sponsors, we may share relevant user data, including your name, email address, and course completion records, with those third parties for the purposes of delivering, verifying, and accrediting continuing education. These third parties are subject to their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

Accrediting Bodies and Regulatory Authorities. We may share your course completion data, continuing education credit records, and related information with accrediting organizations such as the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE), state EMS regulatory agencies, and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) as required for the issuance, verification, or reporting of continuing education credits.

Organizational Administrators. If your account is associated with an organizational subscription, your employer, department, or designated administrators and training officers may have access to your account information, training activity, course completion records, and compliance status through the Platform's administrative tools.

Legal and Safety Purposes. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a subpoena or court order, to comply with a legal obligation, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Prodigy EMS, our users, or the public, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies on both the Website and the Platform to collect information about your browsing and usage activity. These technologies help us analyze traffic, remember your preferences, deliver relevant advertising, and improve the Service.

These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, system monitoring, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen (16) years of age. Users between the ages of sixteen (16) and seventeen (17) may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, as described in our Terms of Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen (16) without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Marketing Opt-Out. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications from Prodigy EMS at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@prodigyems.com. Please allow up to ten (10) business days for your opt-out request to be processed.

9. Do Not Track

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals to websites. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to these signals, the Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can manage your tracking preferences through your browser settings and through the opt-out mechanisms described in this Privacy Policy.

The Service may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party websites or services.
